Lives and works in Ghent, Belgium
Ester Bosschaert Devroe (they/she) dreams to become a bird one day.
Instead she is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher based in Ghent, with a background in art history, visual arts and dance. Her work unfolds at the intersection of ecology, storytelling and urban life. Through writing, drawing, sculptures and performative encounters, she explore the presence of liminal animals and multispecies relations in the city. She is interested in the invisible, the overlooked, and the poetic potential of everyday ecologies.
