Nuria Mora Moreno is an undisputed protagonist of the international urban art scene, one of the very few women in the world who have practiced unauthorized art in publicspaces and certainly the most precocious in Spain.
She studied Interior Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid.She began her artistic career in the late nineties focusing exclusively on illegal street interventions, bridging space, contest and form; her esthetics springs from geometric abstraction and natural metamorphoses that transcend simple stealth intervention to communicate at a more universal level. She has exhibited in numerous commercial galleries and art fairs, starting from the debut in Arco 05. Her work was also exhibited in international museums such the Tate Modern in London, the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, El Matadero in Madrid, Le Pilori in Niort, the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca, theMuseum of Contemporary Art in Johannesburg and last a collateral to Venice’s Biennale in 2022. Nuria is a member of the collective "Equipo Plástico" with friends and artistsSixeArt, Eltono & Nano4814.She lives and works in Madrid.
