Charbel Abou Zeidan
°1978, Libanon.
Lives and works in Kortrijk, Belgium.
Inspired by architecture (my studies), art (my passion), and fashion (my job), my art is a fusion of these three elements. Contrasts attract me and trigger my creativity. Experimenting with colours, manipulating shapes, and creating textures is my passion. I master a wide range of disciplines and techniques to express my ideas.
I draw, paint, and sculpt. I love working with different materials, mixing and combining various techniques, such as pastel mixed with silicone on linen canvas, charcoal and latex on cotton canvas, or stitching cardboard and transforming it into sculptural elements. I am not afraid to experiment.
