Nicolas Peeters
°2000, Bruges, Belgium.
Lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
Nicolas Peeters works at the intersection of music and visual art. He studied at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent, where he further developed his passion for sound and visual art. Nicolas approaches life as a big montage, one he can observe, listen to, or cut and paste in. His practice is deeply inspired by his fascination with media that has been abandoned, lost, or discarded. By placing them in a new context and integrating them into his art, he assigns them a new role or value. His method is a form of assemblage, bringing together found objects and sounds into a new, meaningful experience.
