Recent graduate Lukas Gilissen tries to think of artistic practice as a game where no idea is too absurd and no destination too far. Within his young practice, he tries to translate vague boyhood dreams into discoveries around camaraderie, freedom and play. These themes translate into sculptures, performances and happenings with an interest in appropriate aesthetics, honesty and a yearning need for ruggedness.
