Nick Ervinck
°1981, Roeselare, Belgium.
Lives and works in Lichtervelde, Belgium.
Nick Ervinck is best known for his large installations and handmade or 3D printed sculptures, but also for ceramics, printmaking, drawing, light boxes and even animated film. Ervinck is fascinated by the notion of negative space in an artistic context, often using polyester and the colour yellow. Combining traditional and innovative methods in his production process, Ervinck connects (art-)historical, contemporary and futuristic elements, tackling topics such as cyborgs, genetic manipulation, animals, and more.
